Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

1. Who we are, and whose policy applies

Minori Midori operates a commerce platform on which independent food and produce distributors (“Merchants”) run their own storefronts. This policy covers the minorimidori.com website and the personal information we handle for our own purposes. If you shop on a Merchant’s storefront, that Merchant is the business collecting your information— their privacy policy (linked in their storefront footer) applies, and we process that data on the Merchant’s behalf as a service provider.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email address, and optionally a phone number when you create an account, request a demo, or apply for a business account.
  • Merchant business information — business name, store address (subdomain or custom domain), and plan/billing status.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we keep only references such as a customer ID, subscription status, and receipt data.
  • Order and storefront data— products, orders, delivery addresses, and invoices created through the platform, processed on the relevant Merchant’s behalf.
  • Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

  • to provide, secure, and improve the Service;
  • to process subscriptions and payments;
  • to send transactional email — account confirmations, password resets, order and invoice notifications;
  • to respond to support and demo requests;
  • to enforce our terms and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies

We use only cookies that are necessary for the Service to work: authentication/session cookies and a cart cookie for guest shopping carts. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. When we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the platform — payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting and database infrastructure, and transactional email delivery — each bound to use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the safety and integrity of the Service, or as part of a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case this policy continues to apply.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and tax record-keeping obligations, and resolve disputes. Order and invoice records may be retained longer where the law requires it.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production data is restricted, and tenant data is isolated with database-level access controls (row-level security). No system is perfectly secure, but we design for isolation and least privilege.

8. Your rights and choices

You can view and update your account information from your account settings, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. If your request concerns data a Merchant collected about you (for example, your order history with a distributor), we may refer the request to that Merchant, since the data belongs to their business.

California residents:the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To exercise these rights, use the contact above; we will verify your request and respond within the time the law allows.

9. Children

The Service is for businesses and adult shoppers; it is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.

11. Contact
