Your carrier account, your rates
Labels purchase through your own Shippo or ShipStation account, one active connection per store, with credentials stored encrypted. Postage is billed by your provider to you at your rates: Minori Midori never holds, advances, or re-bills shipping money, and never marks a label up.
What you pay for a label is also never wired to what the buyer paid at checkout. Shipping fees you charge buyers stay your pricing decision; the label is your cost, visible in the rate compare before you commit.
Compare, buy, and the tracking handles itself
On a parcel order, one click fetches live rates across the carriers your provider account offers, USPS, UPS, and FedEx among them, side by side. Pick one, buy, and the purchased label is on the order: exactly one per order, so a reprint can never silently double-postage a box.
The tracking number auto-fills the same buyer-facing path staff-entered tracking uses, so the buyer's order page and email work identically however the label came to be. Label history is immutable, and voiding follows your provider's own rules.

Can I print shipping labels straight from my orders?+
Yes. On the Minori Midori Enterprise plan you connect your own Shippo or ShipStation account, compare live carrier rates on a parcel order, and buy the label from the order page; the tracking number then fills in for the buyer automatically. On every other plan parcel shipping still works the manual way: staff enter the carrier and tracking number on the order.
Do I need my own Shippo or ShipStation account for labels?+
Yes. Minori Midori's shipping labels feature works through the tenant's own Shippo or ShipStation account, one active connection per store, with credentials stored encrypted. Postage bills from your provider to you at your negotiated rates. The platform never holds or advances shipping money, never re-bills postage, and never marks a label up. Label printing is part of the Enterprise plan.
Does the label price change what my buyer paid for shipping?+
No. What a label costs you through your Shippo or ShipStation account is never linked to the shipping fee the buyer paid at checkout. In Minori Midori those stay separate on purpose: buyer-facing shipping fees are your pricing decision, and the label's real cost shows in the rate compare before you buy, so you always see the spread you're running.
Which carriers can I compare rates from when buying a label?+
Whichever carriers your connected Shippo or ShipStation account offers. On a parcel order, Minori Midori fetches live rates from your provider account, USPS, UPS, and FedEx among them, and shows them side by side before you buy. Rates come from your own account at purchase time, so negotiated carrier pricing you've earned shows up as yours. Rate compare and label purchase are Enterprise plan features.
